Nerada Cat Retreat Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions (T&Cs) apply to the provision Nerada Cat Retreat (ABN 36 688 792 406) (Nerada Cat Retreat, l, We, Us or Our) to you (Pet Owner, You or Your) of cat boarding and/or other related services (the Services) for Your cat (Pet) at Nerada Cat Retreat at 440 Nerada Road, Maryborough, Qld (Facility).  By making a booking with Nerada Cat Retreat, You will be deemed to have accepted these T&Cs. Amendments to these T&Cs must be agreed in writing by Us. 

We do not administer any injections of any kind.

We do not give tablets by mouth. Tablets that can be mised into their food is ok. No exceptions.

It is our top priority to ensure that all guests staying at Nerada Cat Retreat are provided with a healthy and safe environment.

As the pet owner, you shall agree to the conditions stated below:

  1. That Nerada Cat Retreat (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Retreat’, which expression will include the proprietors and their servants and agents) bears no responsibility for the loss, injury, sickness or death of animals while staying at the Retreat. 
  2. That you shall pay the charges outlined in your Invoice for the period of lodgement of your Cat/s with the Retreat.
  3. That payments to the Retreat are made no later than the day of drop off of your Cat/s shall be made by cash, direct deposit or EFTPOS; and that boarding is charged per calendar day regardless of arrival and departure time. 
  4. Credit towards future bookings will be applied should you need to pick up your cat/s early from the Retreat; refunds do not apply if your cat/s leave the retreat early.
  5. If an extension is made to the boarding period payment will be made at the time of the extension.
  6. That the Retreat bears no responsibility for any loss of your cat/s personal items during their stay at the Retreat.  
  7. That if your Cat/s becomes ill during their stay and you cannot be contacted veterinary advice and treatment will be sought from your preferred Vet.
  8. If your Vet is unavailable treatment will be sourced from Poppies Mobile Vet Maryborough. You will be responsible for any Vet expenses incurred for the treatment of your cat/s.
  9. Cats are to be dropped off and picked up within opening hours; a variation to this must be given prior approval by the Retreat.
  10. The Retreat provides a range of quality pet food and litter during your Cat/s stay; if your Cat/s has dietary requirements you can provide their own food. Boarding Fees remain the same regardless of if you provide your Cat/s own food. 
  11. That all cats entering the facility will have proof of current vaccination F3. 
  12. That kittens must have completed their primary vaccination course prior to staying at the Retreat.  
  13. All cats over the age of 5 months must be desexed to stay at the retreat.
  14. That the Retreat can refuse admission of any cat showing signs of illness or infectious disease at the time of admittance. 
  15. That all cats boarding at the Retreat will have flea, tick and worming treatment current and if parasite infestations are detected, additional treatment fees will be charged by the Retreat to the Cat/s owners.
  16. That subject to alteration by the Retreat, these conditions shall apply each time pets are admitted to the care of the Retreat. 
  17. That you will allow photos and images of you cat/s to be used on our Facebook page and Webpage. 
  18. You acknowledge you have read and understood these terms and are entitled to a copy now or whenever required.
